    Memorial Day Concert

    The Sarasota concert Band is having its Memorial Day concert at Phillippi Estate Park ,5500 South Tamiami Trail, Monday May 31st from 5pm to 7pm.
    We will be honoring all branches of the military with patriotic tunes as well as show tunes featuring our vocalist Kathryn Parks. Color guard by the Nokomis Boy Scouts troop 1001.There will be an ice cream vendor on site. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket and a snack. We will be following the CDC guidelines of social distancing and ask that you bring a mask. This event is free to the public.

    How will your event support the Sarasota County Centennial theme?
    We are a historic 40 piece wind ensemble with roots that go back to John Ringling. We have had this Memorial Day concert for the community for over 40 years. It has become a tradition in the Sarasota bringing people together to enjoy the park and honor all military branches
    Any special instructions for attendees?
    Bring a mask, lawn chair and snack. Park has designated areas to sit to promote social distancing.
