Catt represents a new generation of suffragists.  She led the fight for the final vote in the state of Tennessee!  Kathryn hails from Sarasota and does many re-enactments.

The Betty Intagliata Lecture Series: Theme for 2020:  “Women Get the Vote.”  The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was proposed on June 4, 1919 and became part of the Constitution on August 26, 1920.

Sponsored by the Venice Area Historical Society (VAHS).  Permanent funding for the Betty Intagliata Lecture Series is provided by the Bill Jervey, Jr. Charitable Foundation.
